Here’s a roundup of all the patios you can find in the Marana area by region!

Northeast and Northwest Marana—consider these local options after a hike at the Wild Burro Trail or a round of golf. You can also pair these choices with a trip to the Marana Visitor Information Center to start planning your Marana or Arizona adventure!

Bisbee Breakfast Club (Downtown Marana)

This go-to breakfast, brunch and lunch stop in Northwest Marana has plenty of outdoor seating to soak up the sunshine! Traditional breakfast dishes are served along with a selection of South of the Border favorites. In true, classic diner fashion, they also have a daily selection of fresh-baked pies! Tip: You can come on in all the way up to 2:05 PM and still be seated!

Cayton’s at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain

Take in the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and the links of The Golf Club at Dove Mountain while enjoying mouth-watering gourmet burgers, shakes, Southern-inspired signature entreés, and a collection of regional craft beers. The casually elegant ambiance of the clubhouse is the perfect setting for a delicious meal with stunning views. Tip: Reservations are required.

Copper Cafe

Eat well on a shaded patio with serene sounds of a fountain while doing good at Copper Cafe! This eatery is a nonprofit training site for MHC Healthcare’s Work Adjustment Program. This lovely cafe serves standard breakfast fare, pastries, wraps, specialty sandwiches, and classics, such as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. As you savor each bite, you're contributing to a cause that uplifts and empowers individuals with mental health or physical disabilities as they learn important soft skills. Tip: If you slept in but are still in the mood for breakfast, no worries! Breakfast burritos are served until 2:00 p.m. each day and the Marana Breakfast Feast can be devoured from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Dove Mountain Brewing Company

This local favorite is about to celebrate 7 years in Marana! With three spacious outside seating areas you can’t go wrong here. Outdoor seating at this brewpub is fully covered and heated in the winter.

Their food menu features seasonal dishes made with fresh, local ingredients by Chef Roberto Villarreal and staff. Their beer menu showcases the talents of local brewing trendsetters, with a variety of styles and flavors to suit every taste. Tip: They’re opening up earlier on Sundays for brunch!

The Highlands Bar and Grill

The Highlands Bar and Grill is a restaurant located in Marana at the The Highlands at Dove Mountain community. It is a gated community but the restaurant is open to the public! The patio offers stunning views into the valley below and if you’d rather eat inside there’s a wall-of-windows to take in the picturesque mountain views. You can enjoy dishes like citrus shrimp, street tacos, or the Highlands Mudd Pie! Tip: they serve breakfast on the weekends!

Vero Amore—Dove Mountain

Enjoy mouthwatering Italian flavors at Vero Amore! This local spot has been in the town of Marana for 15 years and recently won the Taste of Marana STANDOUT award! This patio is cozy so you may want to call ahead to get your spot! Tip: You can also choose Tucson Wings for dinner which is housed in the same building!

Casa Marana is a neighborhood bar with something for everyone! Catalina Brewing Company

Catalina Brewing Company (CBC) is a small (nano) craft brewery that manufactures and distributes a variety of craft beers designed and created from local materials with the southern Arizona market in mind. The brewery features and outdoor seating area, 11 rotating taps, food trucks, live music most weekends, trivia, pinball machines, and more! Tip: Be sure to check their Facebook or Instagram to keep up with the extensive list of events happening each week!

Dominick’s Real Italian

When you’re looking for classic Italian food and a patio, Dominick’s has you covered! This friendly, family owned neighborhood restaurant near Marana uses traditional family recipes and the finest quality ingredients to create a menu with something for everyone. They recently launched a special lunch menu with smaller servings (and a smaller price!). Tip: Dominick’s also has a fantastic Happy Hour with drink and appetizer specials every day from 3pm to 6pm, along with live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.

Growler’s Taphouse

Tacos Apson

Tacos Apson is a family-owned restaurant that specializes in Sonoran-style tacos and hotdogs. The Thornydale location was recently featured in Bon Appetit! Did you know: The name of the restaurant is partly inspired by the owner’s father’s band Los Apson, which was a popular rock and roll group in Mexico in the 1960s? The name also reflects the owner’s hometown of Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico.

The Blacktop Grill

Another great patio with even better food! The motto here is "Breaking diets since 2014" and they mean it! The Blacktop Grill specializes in Sonoran Mexican food with a unique twist. This includes tacos, nachos, hot dogs (including Sonoran Hot Dogs), quesadillas, and fries. Tip: some of their items put a keto or vegan/vegetarian twist on classic Sonoran comfort food, so they aren’t breaking everyone’s diet!

The Station Pub & Grill
