Marana has a growing live music scene, with several well-known and well-loved independent bands and tribute bands, particularly in the rock and country genres. Whether it’s at one of the events or festivals around town, or at a local bar or restaurant, there are many chances in the springtime for you to hear some great local artists!

Desert Bluegrass Festival – March 7-9

Three days of some of the best Bluegrass and Acoustic musicians and bands in the region, and some of the most passionate fans! Alongside the music, enjoy workshops, a band scramble, kids’ activities, crafts, and food from local food trucks, all in a family-friendly atmosphere in Gladden Farms! Concerts in the Courtyard – March 20 and April 17

Come enjoy a free concert on the third Thursday night in the beautiful courtyard of the Marana Municipal Complex in Downtown Marana! Food trucks will be on-site for some local dining options. Each concert features a different local band, and a theme. March’s concert will feature Onesall, a fun funk/rock band fusing funky grooves and exciting rock sounds. April’s concert will feature the No Sand Beach Band, Tucson's premiere beach/party band.

Marana Founders’ Day Parade & Festivities – March 15

Celebrate Marana’s 48th Birthday with a parade and a full day of festivities in Downtown Marana! From 11:30 AM to 3 PM, enjoy live music and performances by several local dance troupes, showing off traditional folk dances and music from around the world.

Par-Tee Music Festival – April 12

Spend an afternoon rocking out with a collection of tribute bands to some of music’s greatest legends on the driving range at The Highlands at Dove Mountain! The lineup includes tributes to some of rock and country’s greats, including the Steve Miller Band (Fly Like An Eagle), and Chad Freeman & Redline, covering all of your favorite classic country hits. Only 550 tickets are available, so make sure to get yours before they sell out!
