Come experience the Tortolita Preserve on Horseback! Gaze at the natural beauty while riding along with our experienced guides from Tucson Mountain Stables.

All guided horseback rides will be on the Tortolita Preserve Trail. The trail meanders in and out of washes & is perfect for even the beginner rider. You are sure to fall in love with the Sonoran Desert after this ride.

The Tortolita Preserve was established in 2009, to preserve fascinating, monumental Saguaros, Ironwood trees, and habitat that exemplifies the desert valley ecosystem. It is located on the Tortolita Fan, a flat area at the foothills of the Tortolita Mountains, shaped by the water flows off the mountains.
