Marana, Arizona is located 20 minutes (13 miles) north of downtown Tucson, and extends both east and west of Interstate 10, which connects Tucson and Phoenix.

  • To get started filming on Marana streets, Town of Marana parks or buildings please fill out the free film permit application here.
  • All film projects that use Town of Marana locations (parks, streets, the Marana Municipal Complex, and other) are required to have a minimum of $1 million in general liability insurance coverage and also to add the Town of Marana as "Additional Insured" to the insurance policy, and provide an Insurance Endorsement Document.
  • A permit is not required for filming on private property.
