Town of Marana Short-Term/Vacation Home Regulations

WHAT HAS CHANGED?

New regulations for Short-Term/Vacation rental properties in Marana go into effect on May 5, 2023. New regulations require property owners to obtain a Short-Term/Vacation Rental business license as well as additional requirements as outlined in the Town of Marana code. Please refer to the Marana Town Code as well as the main Town webpage for more information. All properly licensed properties will be featured on the Discover Marana website, the official source of information for tourism.

FEES

$60 ($20 application fee+$40 annual licensing fee)

Complete a Short-Term/Vacation Rental Business Licenses Application

A valid transaction privilege tax license
Apply at www.aztaxes.gov

Register with the Pima County Assessor’s Office

Conduct Background Check
